The ACT Occupation List identifies the skills that are currently in demand in Canberra (for migration purposes). The ACT Occupation List is used to determine the eligibility for ACT support of the following programs:
Skilled Visas: ACT nomination of a Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa. You can express an interest in ACT 190 nomination by completing the Canberra Matrix even if the nominated occupation is closed. However, only open occupations will score points in the nominated occupation category.
Employer Nomination: Regional Certifying Body (RCB) support of an Employer Nomination under the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme.
ACT OCCUPATION LIST 2019 – 20: effective 1 July 2019
The 2019-20 ACT Occupation List will apply to all Canberra Matrix submitted on or after 1 July 2019
If you submitted a Canberra Matrix on or before 30 June 2019, your Matrix score for a nominated occupation is valid for six months
