They collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate production schedules and ensure the smooth flow of materials. Additionally, they monitor supply chain performance, prepare reports on key metrics, and recommend improvements based on data analysis. By identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, they help organizations reduce costs, improve service levels, and achieve greater operational efficiency.
Skill Level
Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
