The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) conducted a Canberra Matrix invitation round on 10 December 2025, issuing invitations based on a fixed monthly allocation of nomination places, calculated on a pro-rata basis against the annual quota.
Invitations were issued to the highest-ranked Matrix submissions within each occupation. Selection cut-offs were determined by several factors, including:
Remaining monthly nomination allocation Date and time of Matrix submission, Occupation caps, Occupation demand. Occupations with higher demand required higher Matrix ranking scores to receive an invitation.
It is important to note that the minimum ranking score published is indicative only and does not guarantee that an invitation was issued. Invitations were not issued to applicants who:
Have an active ACT nomination application, or
Have previously received ACT nomination.
The ACT Government has reiterated that:
Invitations are not guaranteed
Requests for information regarding ranking, scores, or likelihood of invitation will not be answered
