Mandatory LLND Assessment for Pathway 1 Applicants – Effective January 1, 2026
From January 1, 2026, all Pathway 1 applicants will be required to complete and submit a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills (LLND) assessment as part of their Documentary Evidence Assessment application.
This requirement applies to the occupation of Welder (First Class) and aligns with updated compliance standards. Under these standards, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) must assess LLND capabilities for individuals seeking an Australian qualification, ensuring applicants possess the foundational skills necessary to meet industry and training benchmarks.
How to Submit Your LLND Assessment
Applicants must follow the steps below when lodging their application:
Download the LLND assessment form from the Evidence Upload section of the online portal.
Complete all sections of the form accurately.
Upload the completed LLND assessment together with your supporting evidence when submitting your application.
Failure to include the LLND assessment may result in processing delays or application rejection.
New Video Guides – Available January 1, 2026
Updated video guides for each occupation will be released on January 1, 2026. Applicants are strongly advised to download the latest version of the relevant guide from our website before preparing and submitting their video evidence. This will ensure compliance with the most current assessment requirements.
