Starting 1 January 2025, the Department of Home Affairs will no longer accept Letters of Offer for Student visa applications in Australia. Onshore applicants will need to submit a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) at the time of application.
Key points:
This change applies only to applications lodged on or after 1 January 2025.
Applications without a CoE will be invalid and cannot be assessed.
Bridging visas cannot be granted for invalid applications.
The change aligns requirements for both onshore and offshore applicants.
Ensure your CoE is ready to strengthen your commitment to studying in Australia! For those unable to secure a CoE before their current visa expires, options are limited—departing Australia or exploring other visa options may be necessary.
