New Postcodes Added to WHM Program for Bushfire & Disaster Recovery Areas

As of 5 April 2025, we've expanded the list of eligible areas for Working Holiday Maker(WHM) to undertake specified work that qualifies them for a second or third WHM visa.

This update includes more postcodes for WHMs involved in bushfire recovery and other disaster recovery efforts, such as those affected by floods, cyclones, and severe weather. These changes recognize the vital contribution WHMs make to Australia's recovery after natural disasters.

Key Details:

Applies to subclass 417 & subclass 462 visa applications lodged on or after 5 April 2025, or applications lodged but not yet decided by this date.
