Australian institutions are attempting to offset revenue losses caused by Covid over the last year and a half. 38 universities in Australia sold their shares in IDP Education through their cooperative, Education Australia. IDP, headquartered in Melbourne, is one of the world's leading international education corporations. It was founded almost 50 years ago as a result of the association of Australian institutions known as Education Australia. The company has been experiencing revenue declines prior to Education Australia's decision.
