Budget October 2022-23 update for the 2022-23 Migration Program
The Australian Government announced at the national Jobs and Skills Summit 2022 that the permanent Migration Program planning level will increase to 195,000 places for 2022-23. The composition of the permanent Migration Program for 2022-23 will be made public following the delivery of the October Budget for 2022-23.
Budget programme size and composition for March 2022-23
The Department also solicited public input as part of the March 2022-23 Budget planning process for the 2022-23 Migration Program. This procedure is now complete.
